If Israel loses its fight to survive, every peace-loving human being will also lose

Until 1979, when Islam took over, Iran was a country with a rich culture, freedom, arts, and improved women’s rights:

• Culture: Iran was vibrant with culture and the arts.

 • Freedom: Women were free to dress and wear their hair as they chose.

 • Education: Iran placed a strong emphasis on education, establishing many universities and educational foundations.

 • Women’s Rights: Women’s rights improved significantly during the Shah’s reign.

 • Economy: Iran’s economy expanded and grew rapidly.

 • Regional Policies: Iran maintained good relations with its neighbors.

However, Iran’s modernization was accompanied by political repression and restrictions on freedoms. The Shah’s reform agenda faced opposition from the clergy, merchant class, and landholders. The 1979 Islamic Revolution replaced the monarchy with a regime that embedded Islam into the state and society.

If Israel loses its fight to survive, every peace-loving human being will also lose. Until the so-called moderate Muslims voice their concerns, this senseless violence won’t stop.

Israel’s Fight for Survival and Against Islamic Terrorists:

 • Existential Threat: Israel is surrounded by hostile actors who frequently call for its destruction, making its fight not just for security but for the very right to exist as a nation.

 • Democratic Values: Israel is the only established democracy in the Middle East, defending values such as freedom of speech, religion, and the press, which are suppressed in many of its neighboring countries.

 • International Terrorism: Israel’s fight against groups like Hamas and Hezbollah is part of the global battle against terrorism. These groups not only target Israel but also have broader, extremist agendas that affect regional and global stability.

 • Human Shields: Islamic terrorist groups often use civilians as shields, forcing Israel to navigate the ethical dilemma of defending itself while minimizing civilian casualties, unlike its enemies who deliberately target civilians.

 • Diplomatic Outreach: Israel has consistently sought peace agreements, as seen with Egypt and Jordan, and has recently brokered normalization deals with several Arab nations (e.g., UAE, Bahrain). Despite its desire for peace, it faces resistance from extremists who reject Israel’s existence.

 • Humanitarian Efforts: Despite ongoing conflict, Israel provides medical care and aid to Palestinians and Syrian refugees, showcasing its commitment to humanity even amid hostile relations.

 • Global Stability: Israel is a key ally to the West, and its survival is linked to the geopolitical stability of the Middle East. A weakened Israel would embolden terrorists and destabilize the region, leading to broader global consequences.
