Shinde Addresses Speculation
Amid reports suggesting Shinde's displeasure over not being considered for a second term as Chief Minister, he clarified that his recent visit to his native village of Dare in Satara district was intended for rest following an intense election campaign.
On Monday, BJP leader Girish Mahajan met with Shinde and assured the media of the latter’s improving health. Mahajan also emphasized unity within the Mahayuti alliance, dismissing rumors of internal discord.
Focus on Governance
Speaking to reporters, Mahajan noted, "I visited Eknath Shinde, who has been unwell in recent days. There are no issues of displeasure. We had a positive discussion about preparations for the December 5 swearing-in ceremony. Our priority remains working collectively for the welfare of the people of Maharashtra."
The political transition comes at a crucial time for the state, with leaders emphasizing stability and development as the Mahayuti alliance prepares to take charge.
