"At around 3 a.m., a woman flagged down my rickshaw and asked me to stop. She got in with a man covered in blood. I asked her whether I should take them to Lilavati Hospital or Holy Family Hospital, and she insisted on Lilavati. I drove them there in four to five minutes."
Unaware at first of the identity of his passenger, Rana later realized it was Saif Ali Khan. Describing Khan’s condition, he said, "I noticed a wound on his neck initially. When he stepped out of the rickshaw, I saw blood flowing from his body."
Police Yet to Record Driver’s Statement
Despite his critical role in ensuring Khan received urgent medical attention, Rana confirmed that the police had not yet taken his statement.
