Kilkenny: A Malayali youth suffered a heart attack while driving in Kilkenny, Ireland. The deceased is Aneesh Sreedharan (38), son of K.I. Sreedharan, of Malaikunnel House, Perumbadavam, Ernakulam. He had booked a ticket to go home with his family on Tuesday.
He was working as a chef in a private restaurant in Kilkenny. He had been driving to the restaurant where he worked. He reached Kilkenny town around 8.30 am and felt physically unwell. He then lost control of the car and crashed into the wall of a shop in the town. Although a paramedic team arrived, they were unable to save his life. The initial conclusion is that the cause of death was a heart attack that he suffered while driving.
Anish arrived in Ireland three years ago. His wife is Jyothi, a nurse at St. Luke's General Hospital in Kilkenny. They have two children, Shivanya 8, and Sadhvik, 10 months old. Anish's mother is Shantha Sreedharan.
Arrangements are underway for Anish's public viewing in Kilkenny. The body is being kept in the mortuary at Waterford Hospital. The family would like to bury the body in their hometown.
