Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a Bollywood actress was attacked and robbed inside her hotel room in Hyderabad while visiting the city as the chief guest for a store inauguration. The incident took place late at night at a hotel in Masab Tank, near Banjara Hills, when unidentified assailants forcibly entered her room.
According to the actress’s complaint, a group comprising two women and two young men entered her hotel room while she was asleep and allegedly attempted to coerce her into immoral activities. When she resisted, the perpetrators tied her hands and feet, ransacked her belongings, and fled with cash and gold from her bag.
Reports indicate that the suspects escaped with ₹50,000 in cash at around 11 a.m. Following the traumatic ordeal, the actress immediately approached the police, who have since registered a case and launched an investigation.
Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the hotel and surrounding areas to identify the culprits and track their movements. Further details on the investigation are awaited.
