Amid the ongoing US threat to increase tariffs on countries that continue to trade with Moscow, the Indian and foreign ministries have released trade deals between Europe and the US with Russia for the period 2022-24, justifying Indian imports from .

Three years after Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the United States is still importing billions of dollars worth of Russian energy and goods, including enriched uranium.
Since January 2022, the US has imported $24.51 billion worth of Russian goods. In 2024 alone, Washington imported $1.27 billion worth of fertilizers, $624 million worth of uranium and plutonium, and about $878 million worth of palladium from Moscow.
But this is what Trump told reporters :
"I don't know anything about it. I'll have to look into it," Trump said of India's claim that Washington is unfairly isolating it while continuing to do business with Moscow.
The remarks were made at a press conference called at the White House to discuss the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
