Dublin Airport Terminal 2 has been evacuated. The DAA has confirmed that flight services may be temporarily affected.
A large crowd has emerged from the terminal building in the past 20 minutes. A spokesman for Dublin Airport operator DAA said the terminal had been evacuated as a precaution and passengers were asked to follow the instructions of airport staff.
Dublin Airport can confirm that Terminal 2 has been evacuated as a precautionary measure. A spokesperson said: “The safety of our passengers and staff is our top priority.”
"Passengers are being directed to designated assembly points and we urge everyone to follow the instructions of airport staff. Flight operations may be temporarily affected and we advise passengers to contact their airline for the latest updates."
