A shocking allegation has surfaced after former BJP leader Annamalai shared a post on X, claiming that two police personnel from the East Police Station in Tiruvannamalai district sexually assaulted a young woman from Andhra Pradesh near the Ettel Bypass area.
The revelation has raised serious concerns about the state of law and order in Tamil Nadu, where those entrusted with upholding the law are themselves accused of grave misconduct. Annamalai alleged that under the DMK government, women are increasingly feeling unsafe, with the administration accused of shielding wrongdoers instead of protecting victims.
He further remarked that criminals no longer fear either the government or the law, holding Chief Minister M.K. Stalin — who oversees the police department — directly accountable. According to him, such incidents have created an atmosphere where women are afraid to step outside, and the state government should be deeply ashamed.
