Esha Deol Dismisses False Reports on Dharmendra’s Death, Confirms Actor is Stable and Recovering

Mumbai, November 11: Veteran actor Dharmendra’s daughter, Esha Deol, has issued an official statement dismissing false reports circulating about her father’s death. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday morning, Esha clarified that the 89-year-old actor, who is currently admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, is “stable and recovering well.”

In her post, Esha expressed disappointment over the spread of misinformation, writing:

“It seems the media is in too much of a hurry and spreading incorrect news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to allow our family some privacy. Thank you all for your prayers for papa’s speedy recovery.”

Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on Monday, prompting widespread concern among fans. His family members, including Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Tanya Deol, were seen visiting the hospital shortly after his admission. Prominent Bollywood personalities such as Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Govinda, and Ameesha Patel also visited to check on the veteran actor’s health.

Amid speculation that the Sholay star had been placed on a ventilator, a representative for Sunny Deol—who is also a BJP MP—categorically denied the rumours.

“Mr. Dharmendra’s condition is satisfactory and he remains under observation,” the spokesperson said. “We will share further updates as they become available. We urge everyone to refrain from spreading false rumours. The family appreciates your prayers and requests respect for their privacy during this time.”
