Pilkhuwa Minor Rescued After 12 Days; Victim Alleges Drugging and Assault

A 14-year-old girl in Pilkhuwa has alleged that she was drugged and assaulted after being invited to a friend’s home, prompting police action and the arrest of two accused. The incident has raised serious concerns over the initial police response and the circumstances of the girl’s disappearance for nearly two weeks.

Girl Missing for 12 Days, Later Found Unconscious

According to the family’s complaint, the girl went missing on November 13. Despite extensive searches in the surrounding areas, her family found no trace of her. A missing person report was filed at the Pilkhuwa police station the following day.

On November 25, local residents informed authorities that a young girl was found lying unconscious inside a house in Gandhi Bazaar. Her relatives arrived at the scene and identified her as the missing minor. She was immediately taken to a hospital, where she regained consciousness and recounted the ordeal to investigators.

Victim Alleges She Was Drugged and Held Captive

In her statement to the police, the girl said that on November 13, her friend invited her home and offered her a cold drink allegedly laced with intoxicants. She reported losing consciousness soon after consuming it.

When she awoke, she found herself locked in a room. She identified her friend’s father and two other men present in the room. According to her testimony, the men repeatedly drugged her, threatened her, and prevented her from leaving over the course of several days. This continued until she was found unconscious on November 25.

Police have since recorded her detailed statement as part of the ongoing investigation.

Case Registered After SP’s Intervention

The victim also alleged that when she initially reached out to Pilkhuwa police station, officers were reluctant to register a case, stating they would “look into the matter.”

She then directly approached Superintendent of Police Gyananjay Singh, who immediately intervened. Following her complaint, a case was registered against Pragya, Ashish, Hemant, and Naresh.

Police arrested Hemant and Naresh shortly thereafter. The SP has assured that the remaining accused will be apprehended soon and that strict action will be taken based on the evidence gathered.

The investigation remains underway.
