New York: President Donald Trump has signed a US defense policy bill that emphasizes steps to increase defense cooperation with India.
The cooperation is being strengthened by considering India as a key defense partner in the Indo-Pacific region in the competition with China. India-US defense partnership has also increased as part of the Quadrilateral Cooperation (Quad) initiated in 2017 by India, the US, Japan, and Australia.
