Washington: US President Donald Trump's next move to rule the world by holding the countries of the world in his iron fist is Trump's new warning that he will impose heavy import tariffs on countries that do not agree to hand over Greenland to the United States.

Meanwhile, an 11-member US congressional delegation arrived in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, and held talks with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. This "peace" visit is intended to reassure their allies who are trembling under Trump's threats.
Britain, France, and Germany are not ready to sit idly by and listen to Trump's rebuff. In the past day, countries such as Britain, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden have sent their troops to Greenland. This is a clear sign that European powers are uniting to block Trump's ambitions.
White House Press Secretary Carolyn Leavitt says the deployment of troops by European countries will not affect Trump. "Military moves in Europe will not affect the president's decision or his goal of acquiring Greenland," she told the media.
While Trump is threatening on one side, a group of MPs in the United States are trying to block this move. Democratic Senator Dick Durbin says that the world should not be shocked by Trump's words. "The president is not expressing the feelings of the American people. We will stand firmly with our friends, Greenland, for decades," he said. Representatives from Denmark have also already expressed their "fundamental disagreement" with Trump's demand.
