Wicklow: The Coast Guard has found the body of a woman in the Dún Laoghaire Sea in Ireland.
The Coast Guard has recovered a body from the sea near Dún Laoghaire "Yacht Club" in Dublin. Friends have confirmed that the body is that of Aswathi Rajasekharan, a Bangalore Malayali woman who went missing from Cherrywood. There were indications that Aswathi's bag and other belongings were found in the afternoon. The body has been taken to Loughlinstown Hospital for post-mortem procedures.
Aswathy Rajasekharan, a native of Bangalore, was missing till today. Aswathy Rajasekharan was last seen at her office in Grafton Street (Hayes) on 27 February , 2026 at 2:30 PM. Her phone was not available after that. She works as a business analyst at Hayes Dublin. She currently lives in Cherrywood and was due to move to Letterkenny on 28 February, 2026. It was during this time that her friends reported her missing. The friends then requested police assistance and various groups to help in the search.
Meanwhile, friends were confirming the news that the body had been found, and finally, the sad news of death came again, shocking Indian community once again, dashing their hopes and efforts.
