Police Suspect Professional Theft Gang
Jaipur police have registered a case and launched an investigation. Preliminary findings suggest the involvement of a professional theft syndicate operating across northern India, specifically targeting wedding functions and large gatherings.
Officials noted that members of such gangs typically wear expensive attire to avoid detection and blend in with invitees. Authorities are currently analysing CCTV footage and intensifying efforts to identify and apprehend the suspect.
The incident has once again raised concerns about security arrangements at large-scale social functions, particularly weddings, which are increasingly being targeted by organised theft groups.
