The suspension came after a series of airspace closures in parts of the Middle East due to escalating hostilities.

Airlines operating from Dubai, including Emirates and Flydubai, canceled all services on February 28.

The UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait have temporarily closed or restricted their airspace, causing airlines to cancel, divert or suspend services as a precaution.
