Kuwait: War trumpets have sounded again in the West Asia as the US and Iran entered a direct military confrontation following disputes in the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran launched a powerful missile and drone attack on US military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait. The US also revoked its authorization to sell oil from Iran. The US warplanes destroyed Iran's air defense systems, coastal surveillance centers, anti-ship cruise missile bases, and drone launch sites. More than 60 small boats of Iran's Revolutionary Guards were also destroyed. Iranian media reported that large explosions occurred in Iran's main oil export center, Kharg Island, Qeshm Island, and the coastal cities of Sirik and Bandar Abbas. Several people were injured by debris from the missile that hit the commercial port of Sirik.
Iran's Joint Military Command condemned the US attack as a violation of the ceasefire agreement and a blatant invasion. "The time of intimidation and exploitation is over, we will not surrender," Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf wrote on the 'X' platform. This completely violates the temporary ceasefire agreement signed by the US and Iran last month. The Middle East region is in a major war crisis after the US warned that Iran would pay a heavy price for its actions to obstruct freedom of navigation in the region.
