DUBLIN — An Garda Síochána have launched a public appeal to identify a male cyclist who exposed himself to a member of the public in Phoenix Park, following an incident earlier this year.
The incident occurred on March 31, after the man reportedly travelled on an electric bike from Tolka Valley Park to Phoenix Park via Rathborne village. A passerby subsequently witnessed the man exposing himself inside Phoenix Park. Investigating officers based at Cabra Garda Station have confirmed the matter is being treated as a sexual offence.
Suspect Description and Route
The case was featured on RTÉ’s Crimecall television programme as part of renewed efforts to trace the suspect.
Gardaí have described the suspect as:
Build/Appearance: A tall man with a dark beard and a full head of dark hair.
Clothing: A mustard-coloured top, a black bomber jacket, and wide-leg blue jeans.
Accessories: A rucksack on his back and over-ear headphones.
Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
Investigating officers are urging anyone who recognises the suspect or observed a person matching the description in Tolka Valley Park, Rathborne, or Phoenix Park on March 31 to come forward.
Motorists and local residents along the suspect's travel route are also requested to review and submit any available CCTV, doorbell camera, or dashcam footage from the date in question.
