New Delhi — The price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder has been increased by ₹10 across the country, with the revised rates coming into effect on November 1. The cylinder will now cost ₹2,820, compared with ₹2,810 in October.
Commercial LPG cylinders are primarily used by hotels, restaurants and other business establishments. Repeated price revisions are expected to have an impact on operating costs in these sectors.
Meanwhile, there is no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders weighing 14.2 kg. The current price remains ₹942.
The price of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF), used by aircraft, has also been increased by ₹1.37 per litre, taking the rate to ₹138.50 per litre.
Oil marketing companies revise fuel prices on the first day of every month, taking into account changes in international fuel prices and currency exchange rates. Rates may vary across cities depending on applicable taxes.
