Saudi: Saudi Arabia has banned nationals from traveling to other countries, including India.
Saudi Arabia has banned its citizens from traveling to 16 countries, including India, following a sharp rise in the number of daily Covid infections over the past few weeks following the re-emergence of Covid-19.
Saudi nationals are banned from traveling to India, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Libya, Indonesia, Vietnam, Armenia, Belarus and Venezuela.
The ban follows an increase in daily covid cases over the past few weeks. However, no cases of monkey pox have been reported in Saudi Arabia, the health ministry said. The ban was imposed after assessing the Covid situation in these countries. This was announced by the Directorate General of Passports (Jawasat) on Saturday.
