Devi Prabha was admitted to Portlaoise Hospital a week ago due to illness. After the exact cause of the disease could not be found, she was later transferred to Tullamore General Hospital. Even here, the cause of the disease could not be found, and the treatment continued on the ventilator in Tullamore Hospital. Devi, who was undergoing treatment at ICU died of a heart attack this afternoon.
Sriraj's ( 12 Ard Branagh, Portlaoise,) wife Devi is the mother of two girls and who basically Native of Kottayam, Kerala state. Shivani and Vani are children.
It has been decided to hold the funeral rites in the native country India. The body will be brought home later and arrangements will be made for a public viewing. A Hindu prayer service has been arranged under the direction of the Satgamaya Satsangh at the deceased's home in Portlaoise this evening.
