Oman: Oman has restricted the use of the government's official royal seal for commercial purposes. The law applies to private institutions and commercial companies in the country. Also, their social media accounts have been restricted from using the official royal seal.
If the royal seal is to be used, certain conditions must be met. Special permission from the Ministry of Investment Promotion should be obtained for this. The official notification says that the seal should not be used otherwise.
The order in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of Oman. The order was issued by the ministry. The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) issued a statement, saying that private institutions, commercial companies, and social media accounts are not allowed to use the Royal Emblem on commercial products without obtaining a license from the ministry. The statement added that the ministry will take the necessary legal measures against violators.
