HYDERABAD: Kerala Native priests washed away in Godavari river in Adilabad "Nation in shock".

Hyderabad: The nation is shocked by the unexpected death of a Malayali priest and a seminary student who died after being swept away by the Godavari river in Telangana.

Regent Brother Bijo Thomas (38), Fr. Tony Simon Pulladan (32)

Capuchin community members, Regent Brother Bijo Thomas (38) of Palampuraikkal, Fr. Tony Simon Pulladan (32), drowned on Sunday. The accident happened 12 km from Chennur in Adilabad. Fr. Tony also met with an accident while trying to save Brother Bijo by drowning in the water.

Fr.Tony Simon, is the son of Simon Pulladan, a retired teacher of St. George VHSS, Kottayam,Kerala state. Bijo Palampuraikal is a native of Pathanamthitta, Mallapally. Both were serving in Assisi High School, Chennur (Adilabad Mission, Telangana). Both were serving at Assisi High School in Chennur. Members of the Kottayam St. Joseph Province of the Capuchin community. Brother Bijo joined the Capuchin community after completing a Masters in Business Administration from London.
