Nagpur: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat inaugurated the Dussehra celebrations of RSS. Mohan Bhagwat said that India can become a world leader only if there is equal participation of women. He said that women should be given equal rights in all places.
It is good to see a woman as a mother. But keeping them behind closed doors is not good. Women need to be given equal right to make decisions everywhere. A man cannot do all the work that mother power can do. They have a lot of power. Women should be enlightened, empowered and given the freedom to work. It is also important to give equal participation to women in work" - he added.
For the first time in history, a woman was the chief guest at the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) Dussehra celebrations. Santhosh Yadav, a native of Haryana, who has climbed Mount Everest twice (in May 1992 and May 1993), participated in the ceremony held in Nagpur.
