MET ÉIREANN status yellow weather warning for western and southern counties for tomorrow. Heavy rain, wind and flash floods are expected at some places. MET ÉIREANN has issued a status yellow weather warning for counties in the west and south of Ireland for tomorrow.

The Met Office has issued a rain warning for heavy rain across Munster (Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, and Waterford) and Connacht (Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon, and Sligo) from 1pm tomorrow.

Counties Kerry, Limerick, Clare, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo have also been issued special wind warnings until tomorrow night. The warning will continue from 10 pm tomorrow until Monday morning.

🔘Status Yellow - Rain and Wind warning for Munster, Connacht

From Sunday afternoon, a spell of heavy rain will move northwards along with strengthening southeasterly winds.

Disruption is expected including spot flooding.

Tonight will be windy with isolated showers, but the weather will turn drier overnight as rain becomes limited and dry winds blow. Low temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees are predicted. Cloud will build from the south tomorrow and heavy rain will develop in the afternoon, moving north-east by evening. The weather will continue to be bad due to rain and wind in the west and south-west in the evening.
