Tallaght Crime-heartbreaking scenes , Dublin : Family of twins Christy and Chelsea Cawley gather on their birthday weeks after killings

Dublin: There were heartbreaking scenes at the graves of tragic Tallaght twins Christy and Chelsea Cawley as their close family and friends marked the siblings' 9th birthday.

Tragic Christy and Chelsea and their older sister Lisa, 18, were killed in their own home in Rossfield Avenue in south Dublin on September 4. Their older brother Andy Cash, 24, was later charged with their murder.

On Wednesday, November 2, All Saints Day, Christy and Chelsea would have turned nine years of age.

Close family and friends came at the grave of the unfortunate twins to celebrate their birthday. They decorated the beautifully decorated graves with pink and blue balloons and big banners with the inscription, "Happy heavenly birthday our darling twins."

At the Bohernabreena cemetery, the grieving family sung "Happy birthday" while holding pink and blue balloons and then let them go into the sky. A sparkler was set off while a special birthday cake for the twins was placed in front of the grave.

Fr. Paul O'Driscoll, the parish priest for the Traveling People, also prayed at the tomb.

To commemorate the twins' birthday, balloons and teddy bears were placed on the front closed gate of the house where Lisa, Christy, and Chelsea sadly perished.

On Facebook, their relative Nan Cawley posted a devastating message that read: "Christy and Chelsa. All Saints Day is today. There are nine of us today. Life is just too unfair to have to be this way. You will always be cherished and missed. In our hearts forever. "Our 3 angels," Lisa, Christy, and Chelsey.

Lisa, Christy, and Mikey, Chelsea's 14-year-old brother, all managed to flee the scene on the night of their murders. He did sustain injuries, though, and went to the hospital for care.

We won't ever accept what happened to them, their sister Margaret, 23, told us last month when the three siblings' Months Mind was observed. It's incredibly difficult. We're simply taking it second by second and not coping at all.

Additionally, she declared that neither she nor her mother, Margaret Cash McDonagh, would ever go back to the house where the atrocity took place.

Minister for Justice Helen McEntee remarked at the time of the terrible deaths of the three siblings: "The slaughter of three young family members is a tragedy, so awful and heartbreaking. It is challenging to understand.

As they deal with this unfathomable crime, my sympathies are with the victim's family and the surrounding community.
