Tehran: Iran blacklists more individuals and organizations from Europe. Iran's action is accused of carrying out terrorist activities against the country and disturbing the peaceful environment of the country.
The country's foreign affairs department on Wednesday listed 22 organizations from black individuals, one organization and eight individuals from the UK.
A Jewish community-led radio station based in Paris, pro-Israel leaders in the political parliament, a laboratory that sold chemical weapons to Iraq during the 1980 Iran-Iraq war, a police military unit, a French executive who published two satirical cartoons against Iranian leaders, and the Netherlands' far-right MPs. and are mainly included in the Iran blacklist from the Union.
From the UK, the Henry Jackson Society, several military officers, intelligence officers and the British Prison Authority chief are blacklisted by Iran.
Blacklisted individuals cannot enter the country or purchase or use goods within the country. Blacklisted organizations and companies cannot operate in the country. Also, these organizations cannot buy or use goods in the country.
Iran's action marks the second day the union has imposed sanctions on several Iranian companies and organizations. Iran has warned the Union and the UK that it will face tougher measures if it continues its "terrorist activities" against the Islamic Republic.
