UK: Wife and now husband together laid to rest

UK: Former Indian National Sunil George (45) was buried in Reading, England , who had no children, moved to Scotland to run his own restaurant after his wife died. He stayed alone in his restaurant. It is concluded that Sunil, who had been suffering from fever and subsequent discomfort for the past few days, died in his sleep. Sunil was found lying dead when the police opened the door.

Sunil, who is the son of Dr. Mohan George and Vathsala, natives of Thiruvananthapuram, is coming to England's University of Bedfordshire to study Masters in International Business after passing engineering from Bangalore's Ramaiah Institute. Then he  married Rachel Baby  and brought her to London. But Rachel was diagnosed with cancer and moved to Reading.

Friends say that Sunil could never recover from the pain caused by his wife's separation. Due to this, Sunil came to Scotland and bought his own 'Bread and Breakfast Centre' and started living there for business purposes. But fate was about to melt into the same soil with his untimely abandoned wife, Rachel.

Last February 6, Sunil Mohan was found dead in Fort William, Scotland due to complications from fever. Sunil had spoken to his mother and friends on the phone the day before, saying that he was suffering from fever and feeling sick. During the conversation with his mother, Sunil had mentioned that he had chest pain.

Sunil was not available when his mother called him on the phone. Then he sought the help of Sunil's friends in Redding, where he lived before. Sunil's friend Jobin contacted the police and called acquaintances in Scotland. The death information was revealed during the investigation conducted by the Scottish police.

The funeral was held at the Reading Cemetery at 3 o'clock after the public viewing which started at 1.30 pm the previous day at St. James Church, Reading. Sunil was also laid to rest at the same place where his wife Rachel Baby (33) who died of cancer on November 3, 2020, was cremated.

Rev. for the funeral services. Christopher Heaps, Fr. Benoy Kurien led the way. Sunil's wife's parents T.S. Baby, K. A video message from J Annamma and her relatives was shown at the funeral. Hundreds of relatives and friends including Sunil's mother Dr. Vatsala Mohan George, sister Vinu Mohan George and her husband Augustin Paratukudi came from Canada to pay their last respects to Sunil.
