Multiple flights to Dublin Airport were diverted this afternoon following an emergency flight to Dublin Airport.

The incident took place after the arrival of the Ryanair flight at 5.29 pm today. Ryanair flight FR5542, which had travelled from Liverpool, arrived at the scene after landing, along with Dublin Airport Fire Service. The Ryanair flight continued on the runway. No one was reported injured in the incident. Ryanair said in a statement.

This flight from Liverpool to Dublin experienced a minor technical fault with the nose landing gear after landing. Passengers and crew disembarked normally and the aircraft was immediately taken to the hangar for further inspection by Ryanair engineers.

DAA said the flight to Dublin Airport was temporarily suspended following the incident. The airport's south runway will be closed for the evening.
