"Kilthan" First time in the history of Lakshadweep, a cooperative society has come under BJP control

Kilthan: For the first time in the history of Lakshadweep, a cooperative society has come under BJP control. Kilthan Island Cooperative Society President Mr. TT Shihabuddin came to power with the support of Congress earlier.

But Mr. TT Shihabuddeen says that after his precedency the Youth Congress workers constantly harassed him by insisting that the supply of goods including petrol reaching the society should only be distributed to the party workers and the people suggested by them in the manner prescribed by the party.

On 31/7/2023, he submitted a letter to the Kiltan Block Congress President stating that he was fed up with the youth congress workers of Kiltan trying to put him in a crisis by trying to bring the cooperative society established for the welfare of the natives under the party's control and giving him no support.

Then Mr. TT. Shihabuddin asked for the cooperation of BJP and Yuva Morcha state president and approached Shri. Mahda  Hussain. In help and With the permission of Mahda Hussain and Lakshadweep BJP State President Shri. K.N. Kasmikoya bring Mr. TT Shihabuddeen into the primary membership of the BJP  and announced all bjp support to him. With this, for the first time in the history of Lakshadweep, a cooperative society has come under BJP control.
