Obituary: An Indian native Roji. P. Idicula left his world

An Indian native Roji. P. Idicula, a staff nurse working in Galway,  from Pathanamthitta, Kerala, State who was under treatment in a hospital in Ireland for a week after suffering an accidental stroke, shocked the world and his family, who were still waiting for phone calls from his eloquent friends. Roji P Idicula left this world at 6.30 pm today.

UNA activist and nurse in Ireland Roji P. Idicula was undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of Beaumont Hospital in Ireland. Apart from being a political, social, organizational and activist, Roji was loved by his friends and family and hence many people prayed for his return and speedy recovery from the day he was admitted to the hospital.

Completed Nursing degree from Alvas College, Mangalore. Before coming to Ireland, he started his career as an OT staff in 3 different hospitals in Mangalore and Kerala, then worked abroad in Qatar and then migrated to Ireland four years ago with his wife and two children. Roji's family first migrated to Cork, Ireland and a year ago they moved to County Galway .

He is the son of late John Idikula and Rosamma Idikula, Pathanamthitta Kulanada Manthuka Puthuparambi (Roji Villa in Valia Vilayil).

Children: Evelyn (7). Elsa (5)

Late Roji P Idikula was a former State Executive Member UNA. and Active  Member of UNIQ. Further details are unknown, funeral arrangements will be held at a later date.
