Portsmouth: Anil Cherian (36) a Kerala state native of Kottayam Kudamaloor, living in UK and singer passed away in Southampton on Friday, October 7 at 1.00 am. Anil, who lived with his family in Waterloo near Portsmouth, UK, was admitted to Portsmouth Queen Alexandra Hospital two days ago due to physical discomfort. He died this morning.
Mr. Anil Cherian, a native of Kottayam, Kerala, is a blessed singer who is very well known to UK Keralites through his symphony orchestra. His was working as a mail nurse in the UK for many years.
His wife is Jomi Anil, deputy manager of Hampshire County Council's Forest Court care home in Southampton. The children are students Heaven (10) and Haysil (7). Anil, who was an ex employee of Forest Court Care Home, arrived in the UK in 2008.
Siblings: Ajo Cherian and Jomi Cherian (Devon, UK).
The family and relatives have decided to conduct the funeral services later in the UK.
