Israel announced the opening of a new port in the Middle East; Deaths in "pager and walkie-talkie attacks"

Beirut: Israel announced the opening of a new port in the Middle East.

Israel's Defence Minister Yoav Galant said the war has entered a new phase as the Gaza offensive approaches one year. Israel announced this officially while a series of explosions focused on widespread devices was taking place in Lebanon.

'We are opening a new port. It requires courage, determination and hard work', Yves called on the gallant soldiers.

In addition to pagers, walkie-talkies exploded and the attack entered the second phase, with the total death toll reaching 32. International media reports that not only pagers and walkie-talkies, but also some other devices are used for the blast. The information coming out is that Israel carried out such an attack after long months of planning.

On Tuesday, 12 members of an Iran-backed militant group were killed when pagers exploded. 3000 pagers were detonated simultaneously in several places in Lebanon and Syria. Nearly 3,000 people were injured. The New York Times reported that Iran's ambassador to Lebanon, Mujtaba Amini, was injured and lost an eye.

Walkie-talkies, widely used by Hezbollah members for communication, were also widely detonated on Wednesday before they realized what was happening. 20 people were killed in this attack, according to Lebanon's official figures. According to the report released by the Lebanese Ministry of Health, more than 450 people were injured.

The total number of deaths in pager and walkie-talkie attacks has reached 32 so far. International media also reported that 3250 people were injured. Lebanon's Health Minister Firas Abiad said there may be more victims of the walkie-talkie attack.

Apart from this, radios, laptops, solar power panels and other equipment are also exploding in many places, Aljazeera reports. Hezbollah responded that with God's help they would be held accountable for the massacre and treacherous attack by the criminal enemy state.

This will not stop supporting the resistance of Hamas in Gaza. They said that Israel bears full responsibility for the attack and will definitely retaliate. It is believed that explosives capable of detonating when the code message is received were included in the containers during the manufacturing process.

These were microscopic elements that could not be detected even with scanners. Lebanese intelligence says the pagers and walkie-talkies went off when the coded message was received. Citing close sources, the media reported that Israeli spies had hidden explosives in the devices.

According to the report, Israeli spies had already done this before reaching the country. Seconds before the explosion, the pagers were beeping like normal messages. It is thought that most of them got injured on their face and eyes because they read the message after hearing it.To escape Israeli surveillance, Hezbollah members eschew cell phones and use pagers and other small devices to communicate.
