HSE Dublin and South East was established as part of the Sláintecare program, combining South East Community Healthcare, Community Healthcare East and the Ireland East Hospital Group with three hospitals from the South/South West Hospital Group: University Hospital Waterford, Tipperary University Hospital, and Kilcreene Orthopaedic Hospital. The new regional health region confidently takes on the responsibility of providing acute and community healthcare services across the counties of South Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford, Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny, and South Tipperary to a population of 971,093, 18.9% of the population (2022 Census).

Building the HSE Dublin and South East team
In 2024, our health region is undergoing an inspiring transition from the previous hospital group and community healthcare organisation system. Throughout this process, we will continue to build each team to meet the unique needs of the region.
The target date for completion of the primary changes in structures and assignments is 30 September 2024. Until then we are still recruiting as South East Community Health Care - Carlow/Kilkenny/Tipperary South/Waterford/Wexford.

There is currently 1 permanent whole-time vacancy available in St Luke’s Mental Health Services, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary
A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Catering Assistant from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
Details of Service
Catering Dept supplies daily approx. 800 / 850 meals to a number of outlets in Tipperary University Hospital, Mental Health Services Western Rd Clonmel, Residential Care of the Elderly services, La Chairde Disabilities service and Day care Service in Clonmel. Support staff may be assigned to the Central Production kitchen/wards. Hours of work varies from 7.30am to 5.30 / 6pm depending on work area.
