Police have arrested Udkarsh Yadav, a graduate student at Northumbria University in Newcastle. During the Christmas break, Udkarsh Yadav broke into the room of a fellow graduate student and masturbated.
Udkarsh broke into the room of his classmate while he was on a vacation trip. He used a "gym key" card that gave him access to all rooms at Trinity Square in Gateshead. It was only when he returned from vacation that the classmate realized that Udkarsh had entered the room and had committed suicide.
She found something white stuck to her bedsheet and teddy bear. Then, the girl checked the data on the gym key card and realized that Udkarsh Yadav had entered her room. The girl later filed a case against Udkarsh. The court found that Udkarsh was the one who committed the crime through DNA testing.
The court ruled that the woman must pay compensation equivalent to three teddy bears and a bed sheet, perform 200 hours of unpaid work, and serve 14 months in prison.
