Body of Srihari Sukesh, who died Planes collide during training flight in Canada will be brought home on Saturday

Kerala: The body of Tripunithura native Srihari Sukesh, who died in a plane collision during a training flight in Canada, will be brought home on Saturday.


All the necessary documents have been submitted and the NOC process has been completed. Girish Juneja, Consulate General of India in Toronto, informed Prof. K.V. Thomas, Special Representative of the State Government in Delhi.

The body will be brought home on July 24 on Air India flight AI 188 from Toronto. The body will be brought to Delhi airport at 2:40 pm on July 25. From here, the body will be taken to Kochi on AI 833 Air India flight at 8:10 am on July 26.

The accident occurred during a training flight in the province of Manitoba, Canada, on July 8. The other victim was 20-year-old May Royce from Canada. Srihari last returned to the country in November 2024. Srihari returned to Canada in the first week of February 2025.
