The family is heartbroken to hear of the passing of their loving husband and father, Prakash Kumar, the Indian expat, who was recently admitted to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin after suffering a serious stroke. Despite medical attention, Prakash died yesterday.
Prakash, who hails from Tholannoor in Palakkad district,Kerala state had moved to Dublin with his family a year ago, hoping for a better future. The family, which consists of his wife who works as a nurse and their 18-year-old twin children. One of the children has been in a wheelchair since birth and, heartbreakingly, was diagnosed with leukemia after arriving in Ireland.
The family is now facing an unimaginable emotional and financial crisis. With no close relatives or a strong support network in Ireland, they are burdened by significant hospital costs, travel expenses, and the need to return Prakash's body to his hometown in Kerala.
