Beijing: In a dramatic incident reminiscent of a Hollywood action film, a woman in China staged a daring escape from a 10th-floor apartment by climbing out of a window and leaping into a neighbouring unit. The footage of her escape has gone viral across social media platforms.

According to reports, the incident occurred in Guangdong province. Police sources suggest that the escape was triggered by a dispute involving the flat owner and a domestic worker.
The Incident
The flat owner was reportedly spending time with the domestic worker when his wife unexpectedly returned home. Panicking, the man attempted to remove the woman from the apartment before his wife could discover her. With no other option, he allegedly instructed the woman to exit through the bedroom window of the 10th-floor apartment.
The woman climbed out of the window and clung to the exterior wall of the building while speaking briefly with the man. After he retreated from the scene, she carefully moved toward the adjacent apartment. A resident in the neighbouring flat noticed her struggling outside the window and quickly pulled her inside to safety. Miraculously, the woman escaped without any serious injuries.
The dramatic visuals have sparked widespread discussion online. Social media users reacted with a mix of shock and humour, with comments such as “Is she Spider-Man’s sister?” and “She seems far too skilled at this—clearly not her first time.” Others joked that the neighbour who rescued her might have been the one to inform the wife about the relationship.
