Actress Pavithra Gowda felt lonely in jail, Court Hears

Bengaluru: The sessions court has ordered to allow newspapers, TV and books to actress Pavithra Gowda, who is lodged in Parappana Agrahara Central Jail in the Renukaswamy murder case.

Pavithra had approached the court seeking permission to watch TV and read newspapers as she felt lonely in jail. Actor Darshan, the accused in the case, and other followers were allowed to have TVs in jail.

The case is that Renukaswamy was kidnapped and murdered for sending bad messages to Pavithra Gowda. Darshan and his gang kidnapped Renukaswamy, held him captive for several days and then murdered him.

The motive for the murder was found to be sending obscene messages to Pavithra Gowda and interfering in Darshan's family life. Pavithra is also an accused in the case.
