Washington, DC: 68 more photos have been released as part of the release of files related to Jeffrey Epstein, the criminal who sexually trafficked and abused underage girls.
Microsoft founder and one of the world's billionaires Bill Gates and thinker Noam Chomsky are among the new images. The images were released by Democratic members of the US Senate's Oversight Committee. The images also
include images of passports and identification documents of people from various countries. Most of the information is about young women from countries such as Ukraine and Russia. The faces of the young women in many of the images released have been hidden.
Along with this, screenshots of chats that exchange women are also released. The chats say 'girls can be sent' and '1000 dollars are being asked for a girl'. The chat also says 'someone would be suitable for 'J''. The personal information of the girls is also being shared.
A picture has emerged of Noam Chomsky sitting on a plane with Jeffrey Epstein. There is also a picture of Bill Gates standing with a young woman. The young woman's face is covered. In addition, film director Woody Allen and former Trump adviser Steve Bannon are also in the pictures.
Although the released images do not appear to depict violence or illegal activity, they do show Epstein's close ties to high-ranking figures in various parts of the US. Earlier images released included US President Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton.
The Oversight Committee has about 95,000 photos obtained from the Epstein estate. The committee says it will release more photos. The US Senate had previously fully supported the move to release top-secret documents in the Epstein case. Trump had signed the bill to release the files.
Jeffrey Epstein faced numerous accusations, including organizing sex parties for prominent figures and soliciting underage girls for sex work. Epstein, who was arrested for trafficking children for sex work, was found dead in prison in July 2019.
