Two of Indian cinema’s most enduring legends, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, have reunited on the sets of Kalki 2, marking their first on-screen collaboration in nearly four decades.
The sequel officially commenced production in Hyderabad, and images of the two icons together have already sparked widespread discussion across social media platforms.

Confirming the reunion on his personal blog, Bachchan wrote: “Working together with the great Kamal Haasan after a very long time… our last was Geraftaar.”
Their previous collaboration was the 1985 action drama Geraftaar, a film remembered for its powerful ensemble cast and strong box-office performance. The project also featured Rajinikanth, and remains a notable milestone in mainstream Indian cinema.
For many fans, the reunion of Bachchan and Haasan is more than a casting highlight — it is a cinematic moment decades in the making.
