ABU DHABI — The United Arab Emirates has issued a blistering rebuke following a hostile assault on two oil vessels linked to the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) while transiting the vital Strait of Hormuz.
According to official reports from the Emirates News Agency (WAM) and ADNOC, the vessels were targeted during their evening transit. Swift emergency protocols were enacted, resulting in no reported casualties, and response teams successfully brought the situation under control.
The incident marks a sharp escalation of tension along one of the world's most critical energy transit corridors. In response, Abu Dhabi has demanded an immediate halt to unprovoked hostilities and called for the unconditional protection of freedom of navigation to safeguard global trade.
