KYIV — Escalating the ongoing conflict, Russia has begun utilizing adapted training missiles to spearhead its high-speed ballistic strikes across Ukraine. The weapons in question are modified RM48Us—originally designed as "raketa mishen" (missile targets) for training air defense operators. Prosecutors have explicitly linked the weapon's wide margin of error to rising civilian casualties following strikes on populated and industrial zones near Kyiv.
