Dublin: Leading supermarket chain Lidl is entering the telecom market.
Lidl Connect, an attractive unlimited 5G mobile plan, will launch in Ireland from Monday, October 5. The first 100,000 customers will be able to access the service for just €8.99 per month through a 'Price for Life' offer.
This no-contract plan includes unlimited 5G data, unlimited calls, and free SMS to any network in Ireland and the UK. It also comes with 50GB of EU/UK roaming data per month and 100 international minutes to call over 38 countries.

Account limit, €8.99 "Price for Life" offer applies to one SIM per Lidl Plus account (up to 3 additional SIMs will be charged at €12.99 each). Must have an active membership in the Lidl Plus app.
Customers can purchase physical SIM cards from 192 Lidl stores in Ireland for €0.99. Those with compatible phones can also activate an eSIM via the Lidl Plus app. They can also keep their existing mobile number. Lidl Connect is a partnership between leading telecoms providers eir and 1GLOBAL.
