Six countries refused to attend the funeral of British Queen Elizabeth II. The British Foreign Office did not say whether any more countries will be included in this list. Six countries have so far not received an official invitation to the British Queen's funeral.
Russia is the first country on the list of those excluded. Belarus, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Syria and Venezuela are also not invited. Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a message the other day congratulating Charles III on his new title. But Britain, which has not officially sent a message back to Russia, has not distanced itself from Russia, which faces international sanctions.
Since the Queen's death, the number of travelers to London has increased exponentially. 250 additional train services have been introduced. Heathrow Airport canceled 100 flights to avoid noise during funeral services at Windsor Castle and Westminster Abbey.

The ceremonies are shown live in UK cinemas and on big screens set up in the main streets of cities. Westminster Hall is open to the public until 6.30 am today. The final journey is through 'The Long Walk' which extends to the palace. The Queen was laid to rest next to her husband, Prince Philip, who died last year, at the King George VI Memorial Chapel.
Officials estimate that at least 10 lakh people will come to London for the funeral. Since the Queen's death, the number of travelers to London has increased exponentially. 1600 soldiers will accompany the 8 km journey. 10,000 policemen have been deployed for security.
