Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended Ayodhya, where he will take part in Diwali Deepotsav celebrations Ayodhya associated with lord Ram.
On the occasion of Diwali, 17 lakh earthen lamps were lit in Ayodhya. As part of Diwali celebrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the Dipot Festival in Ayodhya for the first time. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben received the Prime Minister.

In the evening, Modi visited the temporary temple in Ayodhya and assessed the progress of the Ram temple construction. The Prime Minister watched the Aarti on the banks of Sarayu River. An elaborate cultural festival was also held.
