UK: Liz Truss sacks  finance minister Kwasi Kwarteng, Jeremy Hunt announced as finance minister The announcement of tax relief at a time when Britain was going through a severe economic crisis also led to a market crash. After this the dismissal.

Finance Minister Kwasi Kwarteng was fired on Friday amid mounting political pressure and market chaos. The position was lost less than six weeks after the new government led by Prime Minister Liz Truss came to power. Kwasi faced huge criticism for his economic reforms in the country.

 Kwasi Kwarteng, who had gone to Washington for the IMF conference, was recalled and fired. With this, Quasi Quartering became the shortest minister since 1970.

Former Health Secretary and Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt has been announced as Kwartung's successor. Chris Phillips was appointed Chief Secretary to the UK Treasury and Edward Argar was dropped.
