Shocking Discovery in Andhra Pradesh: Woman Receives Parcel Containing Unidentified Body and Extortion Letter

Amaravati: In a chilling incident in Andhra Pradesh’s West Godavari district, a woman was left horrified after receiving a parcel containing the body of an unidentified man. The unsettling discovery took place in Yendagandi village, located in Undi mandal, when Naga Tulsi, a resident of the area, opened a package she had received late Thursday night.

Tulsi, who had previously petitioned the Kshatriya Seva Samithi for financial assistance to build her home, had been promised electrical appliances, including lights, fans, and switches. After receiving a WhatsApp message confirming the delivery, she expected to receive the promised items. However, upon opening the box, she was shocked to find the body of a middle-aged man.

In panic, Tulsi and her family alerted the authorities, and police quickly arrived at the scene. The body was immediately transported to a government hospital for autopsy, while law enforcement began their investigation. A letter found inside the parcel demanded a sum of ₹1.30 crore and warned the family of severe consequences if the ransom was not paid.

District Superintendent of Police, Adnan Nayeem Asmi, visited the village to oversee the investigation. Preliminary reports suggest that the deceased, believed to be around 45 years old, may have died 4-5 days prior to the discovery. Police are working to identify the person who delivered the parcel and have summoned representatives of the Kshatriya Seva Samithi for questioning.

Authorities are also cross-checking missing persons reports from nearby police stations as part of their ongoing investigation. The police are investigating the possibility of a murder, and further details are awaited as the investigation unfolds.
