"This is our country": New Zealand patriots confront Khalistan supporters. A hakka dance protest by 'patriots' disrupted a Khalistani Sikh parade in South Auckland, New Zealand.
A procession in South Auckland on Saturday was briefly disrupted by members of the Destiny Church performing a hakka on the parade route, with some holding Khalistani flags. Police then intervened.
Footage shared on social media by Destiny Church and The Freedoms & Rights Coalition leader Brian Tamaki showed members performing the haka on one side of the road, while marchers stood a few metres away.
Tamaki asked while sharing a video, raising concerns on social media about the alleged display of Khalistan flags during the parade.
“Why are Khalistan terrorist flags flying on the streets of Oakland?”
He asked why New Zealand allowed the flags, which were associated with terrorism:
"Let's be clear: Khalistan is a terrorist organization... not just Sikhism."
