Waterford: Unfortunately, immigrant attacks continue in Ireland. Yesterday, June 8, at approximately 6:15 PM , a 26-year-old kerala youth was seriously assaulted by two men on the Riverwalk in the Kilbarry area, opposite the SuperValu.
Two local people stopped to help and called an ambulance, but the ambulance did not arrive for more than 40 minutes. Fortunately, a kind young woman saw what was happening and offered to take him straight to the hospital so he could get help as soon as possible. The young man said that he was attacked by two men wearing blue jackets.
People driving by were slowing down or stopping to see what was happening. If you were in the area at the time, walking or driving by, and saw anything, please consider contacting the Gardaí. Even the smallest details or witness statements can be helpful, and may help those responsible identify and identify the attackers.
Indian embassy in Ireland, is now coordinating with his friends for his safety and health. It's scary to think that things like this could happen in our society. Please look out for each other, look out for your children and teenagers, and make sure they get home safely.
