ENNISKILLEN — A 35-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Carrie Mullane, a mother of four from Limerick who went missing in Northern Ireland last month.
The man is also accused of preventing the lawful burial of a corpse. He is due to appear before Dungannon Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
Mullane, 39, has been missing since travelling from Limerick to Enniskillen on October 10. The Police Service of Northern Ireland was informed of her disappearance on October 29. Detectives believe she may have come to harm shortly after arriving in Northern Ireland, but her whereabouts have not been established.
Police have released images of a campervan and a boat believed to be connected to the investigation. They are appealing to anyone who may have seen either vehicle or has relevant information to contact detectives.
The investigation is continuing.
